The
rules for winning an award should be read carefully before applying :
- The site should have entertaining, useful
or stimulating content. I give the greatest
weight to content in deciding eligibility for
this award.
- The site must not have spelling,
grammatical or useage errors.
- The site must not generate any pop-up ads
of any kind. I will exempt "free"
Websites such as GeoCities, Angelfire, Tripod,
etc. which have ads not under your control.
- I will not accept sites which utilize
aggressive and/or annoying marketing techniques.
These include, but are certainly not limited to:
Forced downloads, use of code which forces the
visitor to close the browser window in order to
leave the site, use of multiple pop-up windows,
and other techniques which serve to delay or
annoy the visitor.
- The site must be visually appealing, with
attractive color combinations, layout and
graphics.
- The site must be easily navigable, with
no broken internal links, and no more than two
broken external links.
- The site must use correct HTML code, with
few or no errors.
- The site cannot depict
nudity, sex, or any kind of pornography
- Any site, "adult" or otherwise,
which requires the visitor to enter any
personal information, especially credit card
numbers, to gain access, or requires the visitor
to obtain some sort of password,
"ticket" or "key" to enter
will not be considered. This includes so-called
AVS (Age Verification Systems).
- No sites which are hateful, illegal, or
racist, or promote hate, illegal activites or
racist views will be considered.
- Sites which are mainly links to other
sites will not be considered.
- I do not accept sites which automatically
redirect visitors to another site.
- By submitting your full name, email address,URL, and Website description to the email address below, you certify that you
are at least thirteen (13) years of age (COPPA)
- "Privacy: This site does not collect information
from or about visitors. Visitors may choose to share personal
information on any guestbook, message board, or discussion group we manage.
This information is considered public and may be accessable to anyone.
If a visitor elects to email us, we do not save the email address nor is it shared with any other organization or individual."
- Email Me - I will check your site in 2 - 4 weeks. If your site qualifies, I will send you an award graphic and linking code.
